Our principles

Ethics

Done IRL exists to get you off the screen and back into your actual life. More screen time will not magically make you happier. Doing things, making things, moving, noticing, and connecting with the real world is what creates memories and supports your wellbeing.

Real life wins

The app is not the destination. It should help you find something worth doing, then get out of the way. We do not want you scrolling forever. Pick an activity. Close the app. Go do the thing.

No guilt, no streak panic

Missed a day? Fine. Changed your mind? Also fine. Done IRL should encourage you, not turn your life into another dashboard full of red warning signs.

No addictive nonsense

No fake urgency. No manipulative notifications. No features designed purely to keep you staring at the screen. Your attention belongs to you.

Privacy without the drama

We collect only what we need. We do not sell your personal data or track you around the internet.

Read the details in our Privacy Policy.

Honest suggestions

Recommendations should be useful, realistic, and safe.

Sponsored activities will always be clearly marked. Algorithms can offer ideas, but they do not know your body, home, energy, or life better than you do.

Built for real people

Not everyone has a garden, a gym membership, unlimited energy, or a perfectly organized kitchen. We aim to offer activities for different abilities, budgets, homes, moods, and energy levels.

We will mess up sometimes

When we get something wrong, we will fix it and be honest about what changed. That is the deal.

Less screen. More life. Better memories.
